ECRL

The ECNL created the ECNL Regional Leagues as an important platform addition for players and clubs to fuel the development of their players and to provide a proving ground in competition.

We are proud to announce that we will be joining ECRL from U13 and above age groups for the 2022 season and beyond.

ECRL will be replacing our existing SCCL model for our 2nd teams. SCCL will still be a part of the club pathway for our u12 age group and available for more competitive-minded teams seeking more than the Alabama state league.

This is what BUSA/Alabama FC Executive Director has to say “We are excited to see the launch of the ECRL as addition and extension of our current SCCL teams and league.  The ECRL will be a great tool for our membership as all players at the top of our player pyramid will be able to be rostered in the same registration house side by side with the ECNL.  This will be a great resource for player development pathways and something that will help continue to raise the standard of soccer in Alabama.  We are also thrilled that our ECRL teams will be able to play in showcases that our current ECNL teams attend as this will be a massive uptick in recruiting and college visibility.  We look forward to seeing our teams, players and coaches grow and thrive starting this fall.”
