WELCOME TO ALABAMA FC / BIRMINGHAM UNITED
Birmingham United Soccer Association, Inc was formed in 2006 as a result of a merger between Mountain Brook Soccer Club and American Jets Soccer Club. With close to 5,000 players a season and over 10,000 annually, access to over 35 soccer fields at seven venues and 13 full-time staff members, BUSA has grown into one of the largest soccer clubs in the Southeast. All of BUSA’s competitive level teams play under the Alabama FC moniker along with Alabama FC East, Alabama FC North, & Alabama FC South. All of the recreational, tournaments, and camp programming is under the BUSA name. In 2009, BUSA became an official member of the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), the highest level of youth soccer for girls in the USA. In 2017, BUSA became a founding member of Boys ECNL. BUSA has since joined the ECNL/RL leagues for both boys and girls level teams. BUSA in 2018 also became a charter member of the Southeastern Clubs Champions League. BUSA also competes in the Alabama State League and Alabama Youth Academy Leagues governed under Alabama Soccer Association. In 2022, BUSA/Alabama FC joined in a partnership with Legion FC, of the USL Championship, to provide Alabama FC players training opportunities with Legion FC Players & Staff, as well as, the formation of the USL-2 and USL-W teams for our older age and former Alabama FC players. All current BUSA/Alabama FC players will receive season tickets as part of their player registration through the Legion FC Experience.
